The $12 seeded sourdough is fully worth the price. So delicious and has a more pronounced sour flavour which I love. More

Visited Tuga around 9 am on a Saturday. A small line had already formed in the takeaway shop, but we reached the front fairly quickly. The display showcased numerous delicious-looking pastries; however, it would have been appreciated if … More

It's a super famous bakery with more than 30 min wait time. Their famous Portuguese tarts are pretty delicious but the croissants are nothing extra ordinary. Overall a good bakery.

Quite possibly THE BEST hot X bun in Sydney! Would also highly recommend the passion fruit cake (gluten free with cream cheese frosting YUM!), almond croissants, beef pie and of course egg tart!

Best portuguese tarts ever !! The base was cruncy while the egg custard is creamy and very fragant. Enjoyed it to the last bite xx Their cinnamon donut was soft and fluffy as well.

Came here to try the almond croissant and Portuguese tart but left the place with pretty much everything they had on offer. Everything was generally quite good, but we definitely over indulged. Liked the cinnamon powder on the Portuguese tart.

This cafe has many choices of pastries to offer. I got a chocolate croissant & coconut brioche. The croissant was quite big. The coconut brioche for me was a bit dry. I went to this cafe near to lunch time on a weekday, was a quiet time i guess so didn’t have to wait for my turn but still took quite some time to find parking.

I've always wanted to buy Tuga in person, but didn't know they had a bakery near where I work. So when I did manage to drive on this occasion, I decided to make a detour before heading into work.
Got there super early (0600) and glad they were already open. The tarts that I was there for wasn't quite ready yet, they were still in the oven. I was happy to wait to get them hot.
As I was waiting, one of the staff (long dark hair in pony tail) offered me an OJ which I accepted. I think she figured I came from a way away and not local.
Lovely service from the staff, she was also happy for me to take photo of the whole tray of the tarts, too.
And the Portuguese tart fresh out of the oven? To. Die. For.
I have had many Portuguese tarts but this one just blows everything out of the water. Best in Sydney, hands down. The filling: warm, runny and not overly sweet; the pastry: flaky and buttery.
Definitely worth the hour drive for.

Amazing Portuguese tarts! Located in a small shop in Clovelly. Freshly baked every day. If they aren’t open, the café a few doors up also sells them. On Sunday morning I purchased 10 tarts ($43) that had just come out of the oven. The … More

Yum! I honestly cannot resist stopping by a place that has a bountiful number of delicious pastries looking up at me.
Iced latte was ok, a little bit bitter, however seriously made up by the tasty foods.
Hundred percent will be back, those pastries are calling my name.
Some easy of parking around the side streets, or at the Bunnings down the road if you don’t mind a 5 minute walk.

One of the best pastry places in Sydney!
Opens super early with everything being ready to order. They taste as good as they look unlike a lot of patisseries around Sydney. The hazelnuts Pain Suisse is unreal, I highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

The self proclaimed home of the Pastel de Nata may need to revisit Portugal for a few lessons; each time I've bought them the insides are so runny and don't hold their shape at all. More like a Pastel de Nata soup in some pastry.

Lots of yummy pastries attracted me for a while, and finally we had pleasure to go in without a queue. We tried many different types today, and not disappointed.
The best was the pies, especially Eggplant parmigiana pie is to die for. Beef and potato pie was ok, chunky meet pieces were impressive. The sausage roll was a bit too spicy for us. Cake is a bit of dry and dense side then soft and moist, but donut was perfect.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but too much of waste produced… fancy paper bag and plastic containers for sauces…
And with no price tags, and their price is at the very high end for pies and donuts, so it’s only for special treat.
Regardless, overall nice food and good experience for a famous bakery, absolutely special.
